>>>TONYA WROTE>>> ...Is there any good antique and collectable shopping in Lamesa?

Tonya, you've gotta start somewhere around Blanco, on Hwy 281, north of San .... then shop your way on up through City, Marble Falls, Burnet, and into Lampasas. Let me know when you're coming and I'll meet you on the square in Lampasas for a diet mocha frozen drink at Perks Coffee Shop. :>)

What pretties do you collect? I've taken a break from antique/collectible shopping, since it seems as though I've run out of room, but some of my favorites are green depression glass, McCoy pottery, cream & green enamelware, pink pyrex, old cameras (for my son) and anything shabby chic for my daughter.

I love any type of glass....But my favorite is anything green..Nothing special...just green.....I absolutely love the old pyrex bowls...Basically anything breakable...but I buy other things too...but glass is my favorite...I did buy at a garage sale this 1950's un-used..Red Plaid Picnic IceChest that still had the brochure inside...It is so cute...

It is similar to this one but not exactly the same. I guess I just collect what ever catches my eye and of course what I can afford.

Anyway , enough rambling..If I ever get up that way...we will certainly have to have that diet mocha frozen drink !!!!!!
