Invitation for ActionAid HIV report release

Dear Colleagues,

ActionAid is organizing a regional release of its report " Positive

Voices -Emerging Governance Issues on HIV and AIDS in Asia " in

Delhi. This report is in continuation with our earlier report Time

to Act, released during the International AIDS Conference in 2004

at Bangkok. We plan to release the report on the World Health Day

i.e. April 7th, 2006

Time: 5:30-8:00 pm,

Venue: WWF Secretariat,

172 Lodi Estate, N. Delhi 03

For this occasion we would like to invite you to be a part of the

event. The report launch will be followed by a panel discussion on

'Achieving Universal Access: How far, How near' and later dinner.

The report addresses the issue of preparedness of the various Asian

countries and their political structures to meet the challenge. It

also brings forth the voices of Asian people who are already living

with the disease. Our immediate objective is to outline ways by

which we can strengthen the country programmes of each of the Asian

countries by sharing experiences and knowledge.
