HIV/AIDS Physicians Training Initiative in Kerala

Preparations are complete for an ambitious training programme for

private modern medicine doctors in HIV/AIDS.The programme organised by

Indian Medical Associattion in association with NACO and funded by

Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative is to start in 8 districts of Kerala on

18th of June.Plans are there to train all modern medicine doctors of

Kerala by end of June 2007.

Training is for 6 hours and the trainees will be provided with a reference guide

and a CD of the proceedings.

Any doctor practising in Kerala interested in getting trained is

advised to contact their local IMA office-bearers for getting

registered for training.Doctors who are not members of IMA can also

use this opportunity
