AIDS Alliance Andhra Pradesh, Supporting community action on AIDS

The India HIV/AIDS Alliance is a respected and widely recognised,

not-for-profit organisation, working in the field of HIV/AIDS. The AIDS Alliance

Andhra Pradesh has a strong affiliation to the International HIV/AIDS Alliance,

which works with over 70 NGO partners across 5 states in India and supports

community programmes in more than 20 countries around the world.

The Alliance envisions a world in which people do not die of AIDS. In

such a world, communities have brought HIV/AIDS under control and all

people, regardless of their gender, religion, class, race, ethnicity or sexual

orientation, have access to easy, affordable and appropriate

prevention, care and support and treatment services, backed up by an

unbiased system of justice.

The position of Executive Director is an exciting new opportunity for an

experienced manager at senior level, who has a strong commitment to

development work that supports the most vulnerable or marginalised

populations in the community.

Currently a successful project office with a strong team and solid

multi-year funding, the AIDS Alliance Andhra Pradesh is now being

launched as a sustainable Indian NGO (and Linking Organisation of the

International HIV/AIDS Alliance). We are now looking for an Executive

Director to take forward and successfully manage the new organisation,

as well as its growing relationships in the community and with key

stakeholders.

The post offers a competitive salary and will be located in Hyderabad.
