'day All,

I've been making and drinking Kombucha Tea for about five months now and am

drinking one cup (8 oz) per day and occasionally two cups a day. Although I say

8 oz of Kombucha, the cup is really half Kombucha/half water. I suddenly

wondered this morning whether I should be doing this as I take Methotrexate (10

mg) once weekly, and there is an alcohol content in Kombucha of from less than

..5% on up to 1.5%. Figures here are from consensus of opinion on a Kombucha

group I belong to.

I thought I'd post here and see what others thought about drinking this daily.

For those not aware of Kombucha, here's a link that explains what it is and how

it's made etc ... http://www.seedsofhealth.co.uk/fermenting/kombucha.shtml

Thanks for any thoughts/opinions!

I have had this tea and think it's great.  But I'm certainly no expert.  I'd ask

your doctor.

I am pretty sure that Kombucha boosts your immune system, I know I stay away

from it, I don't need my immune system working any harder on producing the

anitibodies that are affecting my joints.
