Imphal: Propriety of a Gymnasium running a PLHA drop in Centre

Dear FORUM,

It is very unique that in the state of Manipur, the MACS has given

a Drop-in-centre for PLHA to a Gymnasium called Dynamic Gym under

the Imphal West district. Everything can happen in Manipur.

The current situation is, if I had a registration under the society

registration act then can I get a project from State AIDS Control

Society whether it is a an organization for embroidery, rearing

chicken.

As a PLHA I would like to know from the authority of the AIDS

control Organization that how far it will be effective like running

a Drop-in-Centre for PLHA by a Gym?.

Could a Gym can mobilize PLHAs and Is the criteria fulfilled for

running a DIC for PLHA? I think the AIDS Control authority should

look after this issue. Please don't use PLHA as a tool for earning

quick money.

Please look into the matter and please do some monitoring how this

Gym is implementing the programs and activities.
