Guest guest
Dear FORUM, On seeing this news one of the foreign experts felt the problem is that in India clade of infection is not carried out routinely for clinical reasons and also no one follows if an infected individual has resistant HIV strain. At least one paper from India suggested that there may be 8-10% infected ART-naïve individuals who may have resistant mutations. Now if two individuals do not practice safe sex, they can give the worst resistant strain to the other one. Secondary infections mean second HIV infection. Any comment?
