Guest guest
Hi Folks Be warned. There is a new virus spreading rapidly by e-mail. The message appears to come from Microsoft.com and gives information about a new patch for outlook and explorer. It looks genuine BUT IT IS NOT! It will have an attachment called Q216309.exe. Do NOT RUN THIS ATTACHMENT. DELETE THE ENTIRE MESSAGE IMMEDIATELY! Microsoft, NEVER EVER send out new patches by e-mail. DON'T be fooled. The attachment is actually the w32.gibe@mm virus and worm. I already have have three copies of this e-mail sent to me this morning. Full information can be found at the following link plus instructions to get rid of it if you are unlucky to get infected. http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/dat/pf/w32.gibe!mm.html This is not a joke so dismiss this warning at your own risk!
