Guest guest
Hey - count me in!!! I've bought 3 boxes of Atkins bars, lots of his meats that are on his web site (which, I might add, do NOT come with instructions - some of us are just not Child!) and I'm ready! What should be our January challenge??? Terri

Guest guest
I will be joining in! I haven't had a weight change in 4 weeks and am getting disgusted! I have been counting carbs for the last 2 weeks and border between 20-30! What a depressing situation! Karyl

Guest guest
count me in. I have already lost 7 but will really try to loose 10 more in Jan. I know after next week I will slow down to a crawl with the weight loss...... it will be like 2lbs a week if I'm lucky...... so count me in also.... Norma, Corky, do i see you two stepping up to the challenge??
Guest guest
Well, since I'm at my full-fat self, I'd say I can manage 10 pounds in January. I think I can actually surpass that, but I will go with 10 pounds because I'm on hormones now and it may be a bit harder to lose. Even 10 pounds might make me feel better. I dread getting on that scale the morning of the 2nd, though!

Guest guest
OK....so it's Karyl and Terri and me so far - with a joining in. Joya? How about the rest of you? I think I will go meat, veggies and salads for the month......with SF jello as a filler. Very little dairy - that seems to be a real staller for me. And I can't touch the bars and still lose anything. But I do want some cream in my morning coffee......

Guest guest
Great! , Terri, Karyl, a, Me. I'm sure others will join in. I do have to say that cream cheese makes the diet alot easier. I will miss it that month, but heck! We can do ANYTHING for just a month!

Guest guest
Laru-that sounds like a great dinner. Today I bought garlic marinated green sicilian olives at Krogers. I ate them all. ( I'm gonna be a blimp tomorrow. I started eating them in the car, between shopping stops, and finished them off alittle while ago.

Guest guest
>Do you realize how many of us are being bad???? I'm rather looking forward >to January 2. How many are with me? I bet Kari isn't being any too good, HEY!!!!!! *LOL* As MOM is my witness, I have been a good girl. I had two itty bitty bites of divinity, when I mean itty bitty, I mean almost miniscule...*L* We found a neat little shop up here with all sorts of green olives (stuffed with almonds or garlic or anchovies or jalapenos) and they had nuts in there and chocolates as well. The samples were Italian sweet cake (I passed on that) and divinity w/walnuts. We just got back from Hometown Buffet (I think Norma owns it) and I had mostly chicken, beef, ribs, liver and greens (collards and cabbage) and zucchini. So I bees good! But I'm ready for January 2, Robin. Mom keeps calling me pineapple chunks, I think that extra weight is showing ( . I did, however, get hit on in Hometown... Rick says it was because my headlights were on high beam. I must confess, however, I did have fish, but no CARP! Laru P.S. The man was ugly, desperate and had an ugly wife. It wasn't his fault that Laru dropped a spoon in front of him and had to lean over to pick it up (those V-necks keep no secrets). She has been good though and has been especially kind to me because I bees bad. So there, Laru. Love Mom Pudge

Guest guest
The hard part for me is to get really back on induction. I have been eating owl so long that I have forgotten induction. And that is what I will need. Start at scratch Norma
