How long have you been at the 35MG? If over a week, check your BP.

Ooops. Val you suggested I switch from 30 to 35 mg h/c a week or so ago.

Did you mean this as a short-term measure? I do have issues with BP and when

i went to the acupuncturist last Wednesday it was 160/100.

But is this a normal BP for you or has it gone up with the increase? That

100 diastolic is pretty high.

This is pretty high for me. I think. I have not been measuring it in recent

months. I was VERY stressed and ill at the time.

It seems so easy to miss the damn mark when you are not feeling well

in general. Seems like the worse off you are, the harder it is to

tell where the sweet spot is...that is until you miss it!

This is where I am confused (one of the many areas where I am confused,

truth to tell!).

How can we tell if we have shot past that sweet spot OR if our adrenals are

simply not strong enough to take the raises?

Val and anyone else who can help me with this,

I have been having problems with fast, pounding heart rate and

internal hotness, sweating, huge appetite, depression, hair falling

out BAD!(past few months again) etc....Since my last Armour raise and

my need for stress dosing with the last raise....ok, well yesterday I

bought a new thermometer bc I suspected my other one wasn't so

accurate and guess what? My first temp. with this new thermomter was

99.7. Well, I am fighting a cold but, don't think I have a fever

from that. Could it be that I went hyper with my last Armour raise

and that is why I have been having to stress dose with more HC? It

seems that my heart rate, sweating etc....coincides with my Armour (3

doses a day) The symptoms come on about an hour after each dose.

Could I be now hyper???? I am on .025 T4 & 3 grains of Armour and

was at 30-35 mg. of HC - Before this last raise 10 days ago I had

upped my HC to 35mg. and then after my raise have had to stress dose

every single day bc of the heart pounding etc....When I do stress

dose, my temp. does go down a tad and since taking Advil since

yesterday my temp. is staying around 98.6-ish

All this time I had a DEFECTIVE thermometer???? Ok, if I am now

hyper, is is bc the HC is still not doing enough and the hormone is

building up? or, is it the opposite? I had thyroid labs done last

Monday and should know something soon on that. Before I started HC,

my FT4 was very, very low, ALWAYS, even on Armour alone. My FT3's

were higher but, never over even on 3 grains and NO T4

supplimentation. I am trying to figure this whole thing out and am

confused. Now, I have noticed the past 10 days that my Fibro. is a

little better and my Arthritis is a tad better. But, hair loss

increaing.... I reduced my HC yesterday, with less stress dosing and

maybe that is why my temp. shot up? If it is my Cold that is causing

the temp. raise, would that explain why the Advil has reduced the

temp. a little?? So, maybe I am not hyper at all but, just suffering

from a cold with fever?? Sorry so rambled but, am trying to figure

this out. Cannot believe it that I may have had a bad thermometer

all this time???? Thanks for listening and would love some feedback!

Well stress can raise it easily 30-40 points. Darn is there any way you

can get a home BP monitor? They are around $30 on Ebay if you hunt for

one, cause that is too high, but I know the probs you have when you

lower HC. We need to know if that was a stress thing or if you are

running that high all the time.
