The final candidates for the 2006 International AIDS Society (IAS) Governing Council Election have now been confirmed. All the IAS members are invited to vote for candidates from Asia and the Pacific Islands. Votes will be accepted from 4 May to 25 May 2006. PROCESS There are 2 vacant seat(s) in your region and you have 2 vote(s) to cast. You can cast your votes through the website only. Kindly read the rules and instructions carefully before voting. WHAT NEXT? The result of the IAS GC Election will be presented at the IAS General Members Meeting at the XVI International Conference in Toronto. The meeting will be held on 16 August at 8.15-9:45 PM. The result of the election will also be made available on the IAS website after the conference.
