rural to urban level, a novel initiative, with all efforts to ensure the

comprehensive PLHA care from to Medical College Hospitals to home care level

Onsite supervisor cum documentation Specialist

(Care and Support Project IRT Perundurai Medical College, Perundurai, Erode Dt)

Location: Perundurai, IRT PMCH

Travel: Within Erode District and Travel to Chennai when needed

Duration: 7 Months

Responsibilities On site Supervisors cum documentation specialist (2 Nos)

Primary duties:

The OSS would work on a rotational basis at the IRT PMC hospital & the private

nursing homes

The OSS will be in charge of the following activities to provide onsite

supervision for the HCP in their work place on a regular basis.

The OSS will be in charge of visiting the HCP in the private hospital & clinics

twice in a month.

Interact with all the staff of the private nursing homes and facilitate HIV care

& support activities.

They will scrutiny the reimbursements of emergency funds from the private

clinics.

Design reporting formats and collect information on HIV care related indicators.

Facilitate effective communication skills of the HCP towards the PLHA.

Provide technical inputs on infection control procedures, liaison with the local

IMA, networks & NGOs and conduct regular co ordination meetings.

Rectify problems related to networking between the hospital staff, NGOs &

positive networks, as per APAC norms.

Coordinate data collection throughout the programs and entry into project

database and generate reports based on data.

They have to plan the camps all over the Erode district and monitor the

activities in the camps.

Qualifications & Experience

The candidate must be a graduate in social science / public

Health / development management or its equivalent with 1-2 years

Experience in the field of HIV/AIDS. Fresher also can apply.

Preference for the higher qualifications

Oral and written communication skills in English and Tamil

are needed .

Basic computer skills including MS Office and use of Internet.

Proven ability to develop and maintain working relationship with

the government, private and academic sectors.
