I wish it were that, but I have the opposite problem. I have a high libido

because my testosterone is off the charts. Basically, we have gone in two

different paths and I just feel that we've grown apart. Like Barbara Brennan

puts it, " we are no longer pulsating harmoniously " ..

Janis: I saw that part on 20/20 and I think what they are trying to

achieve is a sort of desentization. If you say you aren't afraid of

something over and over, then the words and the vision of doom will

not automatically turn into your typical fight/flight response. In

other words, these fearful thoughts will be short circuited so that

your reaction will no longer have the same effect.

I believe it. now lets all go out and get that papilloma vaccine, which

contains 4 strains of the virus, which you will never get in your entire

life (all 4 strains at once). We will surely see chronic disease from this

kind of immune attack but the effects will probably be far down the road and

denied like Gulf War Syndrome was denied (rumored to be caused by anthrax

vaccine).

-- Re: Personal issue - friends dropping like flies?

My last vaccine I gave was my little dog, and it was her rabies so I

could take her into the nursing home to see my grandmother. Within 10

days afte that vacicine her coat went south. She was a beautiful glossy

black tikl then when I started seeing dead reddish tones in her coat. Sh

eis now on 6 grais of natural thyroid, daily. and only 2 years old.

I am not pushing the money on her. She DOES want the money and has told me

so repeatedly. She just will not tell me how she wants it and I am very

reluctant to send a check. My father told me to give her money and that was

his wish. I don't think my pushing money on her is the issue. I am

fulfilling dad's last wishes. I may just send the check and forget about

it.

-- Re: Personal issue - friends dropping like flies?

- I'm confused. Why you continue to push the money on her when

she has shown no gratitude or interest in it?

Is it because of your feelings that it's your responsibility to " take

care of " the family? You're not obligated to give it to her, you

know. It wasn't willed to her. She's shown no willingness to accept

the offer. Stop beating yourself up over trying to give it to her.

Keep it & take care of yourself.

I have been trying to get the money to her for 6 months! She has

commented that she does not want to pay taxes on it, as if there is

any tax. So I am supposed to do a lot of work to get her this money!

I told her last week to send me the account number or tell me how she

wants the money to be sent. I get a social email never mentioning

it. My family and ex bf have a history of getting services from me

and when I have offered, it ends up being so much more work for me

that I am just staying alone, period. I cannot fathom someone who is

about to receive 10k totally free, trying to make me work to get it

to her (sister).

>

> So in this respect I do believe I created what happens with people

in my life. I did not however, create the family that pushed me into

this role starting as a small child who had to take care of my

siblings and parents. Getting out of this role has been very

hard ..........

Janis: , I have thought about this a lot. I do believe most

of us are sensitive by nature, and we obviously are prone to

endocrine problems if there is enough stress put on us. I don't

think in my case that I would have gotten sick if I had not been so

disempowered. I was a stay at home mom, no money, nothing to fall

back on, and when he got critical of me, I would feel so trapped

because I believed I was stuck due to finances. That's when my body

began to break down. I couldn't admit that the marriage was doing

me no good; I wasn't meant to live a life which told me I'm not a

good enough wife, housekeeper, cook, etc. The only thing he said I

was good at was being a mother. I believe this poisoned my psyche;

it was a form of psychological abuse that eroded my self-esteem and

my spirit. I still feel damaged because I am afraid to try to meet

anyone. Maybe when my hormones are balanced, I will get the

courage. But back to your question, I don't know whether any other

stress would have had the same damaging effect on me other than this

marriage. That's why marriage on the point scale of stressors is a

high number. When marriage is good, it can be a stress reliever.

Blessed are those who have the support of a good husband!

I'll do even better. I copied and pasted the rules out of the book so that you

can really understand it....

1). First I will list the Bananas. These are thoughts/beliefs/assumptions

that can lead us to ill health, and later I will show you the " healthy "

ways....We should not allow bananas to dictate how we operate.

some common bananas:

I must be loved

I have to be successful

I must not show weakness

I must have more money

I must not show anger

I have to get it right

I should always know what to do

I should always be a good parent

I must not rock the boat

I have to help people

I should not be sad

I must not be selfish

I must have revenge

Okay, so now some common themes when these bananas are assumptions, thoughts

and believes would be:

Thinking we must be selfish if we insist on having our own emotional needs met

Blaming others for our problems or distress

Rigidly adhering to the rules set by others without questioning them, e.g.

" That's what the boss says and that must be right " .

Constantly saying " I must....I should, or I have to " ....in everyday talk.

Abusing food, drugs or alcohol instead of attending to our own emotional

needs...

Becoming driven or obsessional, about single issues instead of balancing them

with other activities...

Remaining victims instead of taking responsibility and speaking up for

ourselves.

Getting lost in the past " If only " ...

-------------------------------------------------

The body's intelligence strives to:

Equilibrium: a balance between what we do for ourselves and what we do for

others.

Authenticity: the expression of our emotional truth

Personal satisfaction and fulfillment

Excitement, interest, deep curiosity

Engagement in mutually rewarding relationships with other people

Happiness, joy, serenity and inner peace

building environments (homes, families, work) which foster emotional well-being

and health

-------------------------------------------------------

In order to achieve the above, we should operate in the following way:

Staying in the present and noticing what is actually going on

Setting realistic limits to what one can and cannot do

Checking the facts--what is possible and what is not?

Making decisions and planning for action

Putting things into words and speaking up

Drawing boundaries between self and others

Recognising (bananas) and letting them go

Is simple, direct, honest and self-respectful

Learns how to say " no " to unrealistic demands from others

Looks for new solutions to old problems

" Goes with the flow " and adapts as people and situations change

Sees the humor in situations.

Correction: Holistic vets DO think that dogs are being over-

vaccinated.
