HIV Congress 2006. Mumbai 10th to 12th March

Dear Colleagues,

HIV Congress 2006 is being held in Mumbai from 10th to 12th March,

2006, is spreading a red carpet for your arrival. This grand event

is eagerly awaited by healthcare providers and patients living with

HIV/AIDS equally.

The knowledge in the field of HIV Medicine is like the tip of an

iceburg, very little is known about it and much more to be

discovered. This is particularly true about the antiretroviral

therapy. There is increasing incidence of HIV in women and pediatric

population. Hence, perinatal HIV interventions will be discussed.

Current guidelines on HIV associated / defining malignancies will be

emphasised. The Congress will also focus on commonly encountered

problems like opportunitic infections, HIV and organ transplant,

autopsy in HIV patients, renal and hematological disorders in HIV.

There shall be re-emphasis on dermatological disorders as a mirror

of underlying HIV infection.

We have got a galaxy of faculty lined up for scientific session,

both national and international, to share their experiences with

everyone.

The Scientific Sessions by Guest Speakers from India and abroad will

be intermingled with relevant interesting cases.

The venue, Taj Lands End Hotel - a five star deluxe oasis of luxury

and tranquility, is situated at Bandra in Central Mumbai.
