Guest guest
Joya, Yes I did stick with Atkins when I left this list...for the most part. I have my cheats now and then, especially now that I live in the dorms and have to eat whatever is here. Fortunately we have a decent salad bar in the cafeteria. I eat from that every day and I have the meat they serve when it's " legal " . I stock my fridge with cream cheese, celery, lunch meat, string cheese, etc so I've always got a snack if there's nothing in the cafeteria to eat. My fiancé's doing the grocery shopping tonight...that means I get yummy things. He spoils me! =) I have lost 44.5 pounds since 6/26/00. (It was 45.5 but Thanksgiving threw me for a loop!) I hope to be under 200 by Christmas. It will be close but I think I will make it. =) Oh, and I also got my mom to start Atkins this week. She's lost 3 pounds in 4 days. I guess she's liking it. She did tell me on day 2 that she misses her bread and potatoes but she didn't say anything about that today, so I think her cravings are gone. I'm so glad she's doing this. We were WW buddies a few years ago. It's always easier when someone you know personally is on the same plan (even though we don't even live in the same city anymore). *~ ~* 249.5/205/135 Atkins since 6/26/00 Christmas Goal: 199.5 Hi , and welcome...so did you stick with Atkins or are you re-starting? I hope you have a merry Christmas and your children as well. You and your family have had our prayers and they will continue so that no more hearing loss or further health challenges will occur in 2001. Guest guest
WELCOME ! You certainly have a group of Angels watching over you!! I can't even imagine how tired you must be. This group is fabulous... loving, kind, and helpful when they have the info. I have learned so much! I was diagnosed in 1992 waaaaaay after after an Acoustic Neuroma removed in '87. Multiples in head and spine. Developed a few skin tumors recently that I have an appt for in January. Seems like a never ending experience. Guest guest
>> drinking water during the week (it's embarassing topee the way my office is set up..everyone can hear you*giggle*)... I've seen the solution to this...I'm sure everyone is also embarrassed when they use the bathroom. One office had a radio on a pleasant station, and it was in the bathroom!!! You didn't really hear the flushing etc. Lexi
