Guest guest Posted December 3, 2006 Report Posted December 3, 2006 Man, that used to describe me! Before Menopause I would have these super duper heavy periods with enormous clots. One of mine was so heavy I was soaking through an extra heavy tampon every 15 Minutes! That was when I went to the gyne - I was losing so much blood that every one was commenting on how pale I was - and I am a redhead - normally very pale! I wish I would have known about estrogen dominancy then - he did a D & C which solved the problem for me, but P cream might have made it unnecessary. Oh well, water under the bridge. No more periods for me - heaven on earth! LOLOL! I do use P cream though, still estrogen dominant - the weight, the weight, the weight! I am 5' 2 " and 90 LBS overweight! I want to lose this and lose the dratted cravings - still get those, though not as bad. C. in very very very cold and snow-y Chicago Quote
Guest guest Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 lol I never thought I would want to go thru Menopause but, I do! (am 40) I am still cramping and bleeding heavily and it is day 5 of my period! I am going to look into that ablation therapy if everything checks out ok. I hear it works well...... Guest guest Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 Dana, I'd do a little research first on ablation before making that decision. Several women on my adeno group have had that done and did not like the procedure. They said they felt worse afterwards, said it made them feel like a burnt roast!! Guest guest Posted December 4, 2006 Report Posted December 4, 2006 I'm right there with you Dana! Consider ProgonB by Bezwecken...same company as Isocort. It's a sublingual progesterone. It's what helped me stop my last period. Warmly, -- In NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS , " danamarie39 " wrote: > > lol > > I never thought I would want to go thru Menopause but, I do! Guest guest Posted December 6, 2006 Report Posted December 6, 2006 Will do! Thanks I am on day 6 and it is FINALLY easing up now. First day without horrible cramping. This has to stop! I am sure it is bc I am hypo now. I have to start to get my Armour back up there. I think this last period has made my iron even worse because I feel really weak and am having palps again. I have to get on iron, pronto! Will check out that website shortly as I finally have a day off from work..... Guest guest Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 Its going. I'm feeling pretty well. I am stiff again, but my Bowen practitioner has been on maternity leave. But I'm pretty energetic (no ball of fire, but a helluva lot better than I was a year ago!) and the brain fog is mostly gone, which makes me more than happy! This is going to take awhile to tweak, as I mentioned on the main NTH list, I'm still working on getting my water problems addressed, which I think is a huge contributor. And I'm also dealing with low sex hormones as well. I've been using an estriol/progesterone cream, that is helping. Its only been one month so far (well, like 2-3 weeks before my period came last week) so I started again last night, and that has helped the pms immensely, as well as the dryness and incontinence. So we're getting there. Her plan is that once I get the xeno's detoxed, I shouldn't need the cream, but we're using it for symptoms now. She also feels I should be able to lower my Armour as well. Also, if I had access to a far infrared sauna, she said the detox will go much faster/better. Guest guest Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 , Glad things are getting better. Received our new water system this week with the special fluoride filter, just need to get it installed by the plumber. I have noticed a big difference over the last couple of months from drinking the bottled spring water. I'm putting the far infrared sauna on my Christmas list!! Linn > Its going.
