Marla,

When I found out I had Prostrate Cancer I was at work. And I had to stay there about 6 hrs until I was relieved. Probably the best thing, it gave me time to handle the situation. Gave me a chance to get my feelings sorted out, Denial, Why me, Anger, etc. I know the hardest thing I had to ever do was call my wife and tell her that I had Prostate Cancer. This gentle woman turned into steel and became my rock. I was having trouble handling the situation. She started researching all methods etc. After talking with the Docs we decided on surgery. Thank God I have this wonderful loving woman in my life. Prostate Cancer affects all members of the family. The main thing is to be there.

Keep a positive attitude, I feel that my faith was a tremendous help with me. You and your husband will be in my wife's and my prayers. As of this writing I am approaching 5 years being years cancer free. Your post shows that you really love your husband. Stand beside him, at this point in life hold on to each other tight.

God Bless

Big
