Guest guest
WORLD TUBERCULOSIS DAY PROGRAMMES-2006 Dear Patrons and Forum Members, Angelz[india]Trust,Aligarh UP India organised a host of clinical, academic and public health programmes on 24-26 March,2006 to mark the WORLD TUBERCULOSIS DAY-2006. We had live demonstration of AFB Sputum Smears, Chest X-Rays and other skiagrams and a few CT Scans relevant to the theme of the WTBD-06. Special Power Point presentation titled Prevention of Workplace AIDS related TB at the Workplace generated much interest amongst the sumposium participants, especially girl students and lady delegates. The theme of the two-day symposium was " Current Medical Diagnosis & Treatment of Adult and Pediatric Tuberculosis including Current Updates & Recent Advances " held in the Seminar Hall of the MCHE Campus here on 24th and 26th of this month. A well-attended HEALTH CAMP on 26th of March,2006 was the high point of the Trust's three-day long programmes. Patients mostly suffering from respiratory diseases were examined and investigated free of cost and referred to tertiary care centre locally. Power Point presentations of the symposia lectures, key-note address and theme lecture were much appreciated by attending resident and interns from local medical college [JN Medical College], and schools of alternative medicine. In all, 78 delegates attended the WTBD-06 Programme held under the auspices of ANGELZ [iNDIA] TRUST, Aligarh. Full report and pictures of the Symposia and Health Camp are available on the website of the Trust.
