Lyme is in California! It is very under-reported, as in every

state....My son is now showing signs of Low Thyroid and Adrenal and

he was bit a year and a half ago. He was treated for 4 months and

still has some signs of Lyme....please don't think you are safe in

California! Your not.

Bullseye rash is not always apparent. I also heard that you can get Lyme

from mosquitos as well. I should get tested, but can't find a reasonably

priced doctor that uses the " right " lab.

Bullseye rash is not always apparent. I also heard that you can get Lyme

I never had a bulls eye rash. There is also a stealth virus that has the

Lyme DNA so you will test positive for Lyme even tho you have the stealth

virus. My Lyme doc does not believe this even tho there is a research lab

in CA that has treated for the stealth virus. A virus would also explain

why there is so much Lyme disease everywhere.

My ex and my current both have Lyme. How coincidental is that? http://www

I've been monitoring my blood sugar occasionally while taking HC as I

was concerned about BG going up. I have noticed no changes at all,

my BG has stayed normal, around 80 for a fasting number. I do think

that the scare warnings have to do with very high doses of HC.

Or, can rheumatic fever, if one had it, set off this whole process?

When we first got here in July, she had a bad sore throat that never

developed into much, then it went away. Five weeks later to the day,

she got a sore elbow with no apparent injury (but she's hypersensitive

to pain, so we've been down that road before), and it was inflamed,

red, and hot to the touch.

So, I googled something like " red elbow " to find out if I should put a

cold or hot compress on. Well, much to my surprise, every site I went

to had an advisory for rheumatic fever, with the 5 weeks being the key

element tracing back to the sore throat.

Well, I called the new pediatrician, and of course I'm sure they think

I'm " Munchausing " because I asked about rheumatic fever. Wouldn't

have even known about it if I could remember hot or cold compress!

Anyway, it's always been hard to gauge the intensity of the health

problem with this kid, since she's so miserably sensitive to pain.

I'm assuming that has to do with the low T3!?

I think it's also important to remember that she has had low body

temps since I can remember & has had major sleep issues since birth.

Also always hypersensitive to pain, etc.

I swear it's something with the HPA axis, but of course I am not

limiting myself to that only.

been on antibiotics for a month both times & taken the Lyme vaccine

too?

I seem to recall reading that these thing may throw off interpreting

test results.

Sometimes I wonder if I could still have something low-grade left over

from Lyme, a new infection, etc.

We live smack-dab in the middle of Lyme-central.
