Guest guest
Dear All, I had a radical prostatectomy in August 2006. At the moment my psa readings are undetectable but two years on I am almost totally incontinent due to a sphincter which was damaged during my operation. My specialist has recommended an artificial sphincter and I would be pleased to hear from anyone who has been fitted with such a device - how successful has it been and what are the pros and cons of using one. I have read on the internet that incontinence can be controlled with either a Cunningham clamp or a compression ring. Again I would be pleased to hear from anyone who has experience of using either of theses two devices. Many thanks, Stuart.
