Hi, everyone,

I just joined this list and want to introduce myself. My name is

Barnee, I am a 60 year old woman and I found the no-diet approach in

1987 with Geneen Roth's " Breaking Free from Compulsive Eating " . I

know the no-diet approach works, I lost 75 lbs and was able to keep

it off until last year, when I had major work stress & no time to

exercise. I have regained about half of the weight I lost and I want

to get myself refocused. Recently I have read " Intuitive Eating " and

recognized that I am the " Emotional Unconscious Eater " but I am also

a distracted eater - it is SO Hard for me to eat and NOT read!

I would really appreciate feedback from others who are " Emotional

Unconscious Eaters " and/or distracted eaters, on what techniques they

have found useful.

I've read all Geneen Roth's books & " Overcoming Overeating " , if there

are others anyone would recommend on emotional/distracted eating I'd

appreciate recommendations.
