Guest guest
Callie, My 10 year old niece is also named Callie, so I like you already! Good girl for keeping your mom on the straight and narrow. You don't know what a favor you are doing her (even if she doesn't think so right now!) Keep up the good work! Guest guest
Kathy, Your daughter Callie sounds like my daughter . Em makes me aware of EVERYTHING I put in my mouth. Once she announced at a birthday party that the hostess need not offer me a slice of cake as I couldn't eat it anyway since I eat LC. She was seven at the time, and I could have DIED! Give Callie a hug and let her know she's a great LC policewoman!

Guest guest
To everyone that has sent a message to my daughter about how "great" she is.... Thanks! Now her head will have to go LC! When I read her your posts, she was just glowing. Seriously... thanks. She is 5' 1 & 1/4 inches and weighs 115 lbs. She has decided that starting Jan 1 she will be LCing, although not LC enough to lose any weight. Basically she has decided that she should do away with sugar, bread and starchy foods, with the exception of fruits. She is getting that "pubecent" hormonal fluctuations with face breaking out etc. and she is convinced that if she starts watching her carbs now, she won't have to ever be on a diet. I think that is pretty wise thinking for being only 11, too bad I wasn't as smart.... Kathy

Guest guest
Kathy: Confession is good for the soul, but I don't think you committed an unforgiveable sin. If you have not "cheated" one time since April, I think a slice of bread would be in order as a reward if that's what you really wanted. just remember - get right back on track!!
