Guest guest Posted August 9, 2005 Report Share Posted August 9, 2005 Correction re the Accucheck..I rechecked my talking blood meterand found that it is not the Accucheck but rather a Shure Step talking meter. It cost me 400 dollars and another 63 dollars for a guide to aim the bllod in the center of the strip tester. As I say, It cost me altogether 463 dollars and I personally, can't use it as I am a fumblly kind of person and ended up getting a sighted meter called One Touch. My wife helps me and I found the solution to my trying to guide myself using theSuure Step. Perhaps someone that has a bit of sight, may be able to use Sure Step and btw, It comes with a talking apperatus which works well. I'd like to get 100 American dollars to dtry to make up at least some of the originalcost. I would consider a trade of something if anyone wants to do that. Yo do not have tohave a sighted person tell you the code of each new bottle of strips-just take oout the old code key of the Voice mate and put in the new one that comes with each new bottle of strips and you are all set!
