Guest guest Posted February 14, 2001 Report Share Posted February 14, 2001 S, I am surprised that you say your RE did give you the green light to TTC with a V shaped uterus. The reason I say that is because I have scarring on my left side of uterus and no one said anything to me about TTC. Potentially I can get pregnant because one tube is open but it is whether I could sustain a pregnancy to full term that is the problem. It scars me to death to even consider living through the nightmare of losing another child to premature delivery. Additionally I am aware that surgeries could make a situation worse, but I believe this is only if the doctor involved is not careful to cause further scratches which in turn will try to heal and thus more scars. That is why, for my surgery, I chose to go to an A list doctor in the hope that he will be able to rid me of these returning scars.
