: Did your RE tell you 50%? I'm just curious,

because the research I've done, and my own RE told me

that the chances of a healthy pregnancy

post-Asherman's are much lower....possibly 30% at the

highest.

Perhaps he was referring to pregnancy rates only and

not actual delivery rates? I know everyone has heard

different numbers, and I'm not trying to be

pessimistic or anything, just realistic. I think we

all need to be prepared for the fact that for every 10

of us...it is likely that only 3 or maybe 4 will be

able to conceive a child and carry a child to term

after Asherman's.

Not good odds at all....and you're right, it does

depend on severity of scarring, residual endometrium

" left " after surgery, such a large number of factors

that no one really has a good handle on yet it seems.

It may be that those with minimal scarring have a much

higher 80-90% chance of pregnancy after repair...and

it could be that those with severe scarring such as

myself have only a 5 or 10% chance and these two

average together to the 50% you heard. Who knows?
