: Not to worry, I would bet you that this is

" mid-cycle spotting " and not a period. When I was in

the middle of my estrogen dose following my surgery in

Setember, I spotted for about 2 days, nothing very

heavy but enough to need a pad. I was very concerned

that it was my period as well and was too short, but

it was not. I kept taking my estrogen and then my

progesterone and about 2 days later I got a " real "

(and my only since 1996) period which lasted about 3

days and was much heavier than the spotting I had 2

weeks prior.

So, I would bet this is just spotting and not a

period. If you are concerned though, call your doctor

and talk to him or her about it.
