-letter to my D & C doctor

That is a very good letter and I think that you are down to the point and hopefully, will make him think carefully next time he does a D & C on someone else.

I would like to write such a letter to the doctor who did my D & C one day and I'm sure it would make me feel better. I would personally not have added the bit where you say

"I am not saying that you as the surgeon performing this procedure actually caused my condition, there is no way of proving this,"

I would write the same sentence but leave out the ...there is no way of proving this. Why should I give him that satisfaction of knowing that!!

Again here I know that he will probably never reply but you seem to be giving him a choice here of whether to answer or not. I am almost tempted to say that you should ask him for an apology but I know that is going too far. Maybe if you put something like: I hope you take what I have said to heart and I would appreciate at least hearing from you in reply to this letter.

The above are only some suggestions of how I would change some things, otherwise to me it is a perfect letter. Well done!
