Dear friends,

Centre for Communication and Development Studies (www.ccds.in), a development

research public trust based in Pune, India is organising Films++, a film

festival with HIV/AIDS as its theme in different locations in India.

CCDS is also in the process of developing a package of audio-visual material --

especially documentary and feature films on HIV/AIDS and related issues for its

resource centre, Open Space( www.openspaceindia.org). These resources will be

utilised for regular awareness and outreach programmes. We are trying to acquire

more documentary films, animations, music videos, public service messages on

HIV/ AIDS. If you know of any productions in this area, please suggest where we

can source it.

Films++ was hosted in Bangalore during the Global Week of Action in May 2006.

Sanjay Suri, the protagonist of the Hindi film, My Brother Nikhil inaugurated

the festival. Films++ is travelling to Kolkatta and Chennai in December 2006.

Thanks and regards,

Sanjay Mohan
