I wonder how many other women there are out there who don't know they have Ashermans. Once we can get the story out to the rest of the world, then I'm sure many women will come forward and find out that they too have Ashermans. Also, you said that once you read our stories on the web page, you did not feel alone anymore. That is exactly one of the reasons for our web page. In another email to me, you said the following: After my daughters birth I did not have a period for 5 years. I starting taking the pill due to ovarian cyst. After that I stated my period, which started out ½ day and now has increased to about 1 ½ days long. This to me sounds like you have the potential for growing endometrium. I have heard of other members who it took doctors years to diagnose, taking many years to grow a lining. I believe that without medication, it is a very slow process, but with medication, you may get a better growth rate, although still quite slow. You also wrote: Everything is still so new for me. I am not even sure what all the women are talkingabout but is seems so overwhelming right know. I want another child so bad but not sure of all my options yet. I find that many new members remain silent for this very reason. They are afraid to ask questions to the group because they feel they are so behind and may sound stupid. But let me tell you that none of us have a degree in Ashermans. We all started at the same point as you and by asking stupid questions to each other, we gathered information and learnt from each others stupid questions. Sometimes, what sounds like a stupid question to you, may trigger someone elses memory and in that way we fit links to this big puzzle we have started. So what I am trying to say is ask ask ask stupid questions. That's why we are here, to answer them, otherwise you would not need to be here would you?
