Guest guest Posted January 25, 2004 Report Share Posted January 25, 2004 I would point blank ask your endo to explain why they are ordering this test. Have them explain it to you. If it doesn't make sense ask questions and do your own research. Have you had any other blood tests recently? Have you maybe had your glucose levels checked and they are outside the normal range? Its your right to know. Louise PS When I went to see my Dr a few years ago complaining of heavy periods she did a blood test. I didn't ask why but it turns out my TSH was 94 - the highest she had ever seen.
