Dear Forum,

That is an extremely useful suggestion which was more expected from secular

organizations too.

There is a strong need for pre-marital counselling with umpteen issues to be

discussed at length including myriad psycho-social and sexual issues not just

limited to vulnerability to STI/HIV.

Any attempts for mandatory HIV testing may have counter-productive effects with

disastrous consequences.

With best wishes for the sustained and concerted endeavours for the

containment of the dual epidemics of HIV and stigma and discrimination faced by

the PLHIV, Thanks to Dr.Pradeep for sharing the valuable initiative.
