Guest guest
Yes, I have been asking to tweek my dosage upwards for a long time. Having that Free T3 at the top of the range made me wonder if my problems are not thyroid. The joint and muscle pain is so bad that I can't turn over in bed without screaming. Adrenals are involved also I would guess. Frannie Re: Need my thinking confirmed. Hi Frannie. First and foremost, forget the total T3 and total T4. If you are going to put emphasis on labs, put it on the free's. And next time you do labs, tell the doc you are not interested in paying for the totals. Second, when you had those labs done in August, with a fT3 of 3.8 (2.3-4.2) and a fT4 of 1.4 (0.8-2.3), how did you FEEL??? Were you having symptoms of hypo?? Guest guest
That rib pain is a symptom of thyroid adrenal issues.. mine had gotten so bad that I often didn't want to go to sleep at night because I knew how awful I would feel in the morning.. then it takes hours for it to ease up. Have you tried taking a small part of your thyroid dose before bed? that was the trick that worked for me..... I not take 1/2 grain doses five times a day... when I first wake, three times during the day, and the last as I crawl into bed at night.. I no longer feel like I've been in a train wreck when I wake. Also, if you have adrenal issues that are keeping you from getting a deep restorative sleep.. you need to address that as well.
