Are there any others in NC maybe near Chapel Hill NC? I am in Wilminton NC and assume that there are none near here but maybe Chapel HIll, Raleigh, Durham? I am going to check and see if we have an updated version for your state. I really don't think so as this list is only a month old. I drive to Georgia from Michigan for my treatment....depends if the doc is worth it. I know 6 hours seems long, but it may be your only alternative. How far are you from Georgia? Let me know if the third doc is closer. I have found a doc that I am researching in Winston- Salem NC which is about midpoint in the state, maybe four hours from me. His name is Lawrence Webster, MD. Before I see Dr. Webster, I have questions that I want answered either by phone or email. I dont' want to waist my time or money for nothing ya know? I had labs drawn yesterday and see my endo on Friday. I don't have any hope that he will raise my Armour dose...no basis for this really, I guess I am just preparing myself for the worst. Anyway, to get to Georgia, I have to cross SC so it would be maybe 6-8 hours just to get to teh boarder. Where is GA? Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it!!!! I know it sounds drastic, but drastic diseases (like ours) takes drastic measures sometimes. His info is Dr. Milton 1 I promise you that you won't be sorry. He is the most carring, loving, man I " ve ever met. He knows what to do in every case. I've not heard a bad word mentioned in the same sentence with his name. I wish that there were more docs like him. My son just told me the other day that he is going to be a doctor and he will try and learn from Dr. Milton in his internship, so that he and I can help many many women/men. Wouldn't that be wonderful?? My son is 14 so we have a looooong wait LOL...but I look forward to working with him.
