Guest guest
I am just starting to do some homevisits with the elderly and was wondering if anyone has a standardized client note that they use for this purpose. I am the first dietitian the company had ever hired so they do not have a note in the computer for me to use. I am new to working with the elderly, as well. I know the typical things to look for, weight loss/gain, malnutrition, swallowing or chewing difficulties, social issolation, ability to prep foods, etc.... Are there any particular nutritional issues associated with this group? Also my first client has myasthenia gravis. Are there any nutritional immplications other then potential for difficulty swallowing related to this condition?
