Whatever the reason, that is great news, since we are enjoying the benefits of their thyroid hormone:-)) As for the hormones in the food, milk etc. that we eat; I believe that is the primary reason for the obesity problem which has become epidemic, even among children. They don't call them " growth hormones " for nothing!!! Their purpose is to put on weight faster for the animal. Unfortunately, being mammals, the hormones do the same thing, weight gain, for everyone.
