I'm taking a Generic Natural.. before that I took the Natural from

Nutri-meds.. I did well on both.. but for both I keep my doses to about

1/2 grain... I do better with that... If I mis a dose and take two at a

time, boosting it to 1 grain... I 'don't fell so good'. It's not

something I can label... I'm not shaky or jitter or anything... but just

don't feel right.... Some of us are just too sensitive it seems.

Part of my getting used to Synthroid was taking it with food.. I know

now, was just binding the Synthroid and reducing absorption.

I love the naturals though... They make me feel better than Synthroid

ever did.... This is a little exaggerated but in demonstrates the point:

Synthroid is eating plain popcorn, Natural thyroid is having butter with

the popcorn, getting the dose pretty darn near optimal, is adding

Parmesan cheese to the buttered popcorn.

The first is pretty darn good... the second is much better.... the third

is fantastic!

I wonder, though, sensitivity like that can also be lessened by doing two

things that I've added.... Taking selenium boosts your body's conversion

of T4 to T3... evening out the levels of T3 in your body more between

doses... making a dose less stressful.... and for some, fatigued

adrenals can react badly to a dose of thyroid... they are tired to begin

with and then that dose is added and they do this " hey, we're kinda tired

over here ya know, give us a break " . So... I wonder if maybe either of

those might help make dosing less stressful to your system?
