Guest guest
Hi everyone. I want to respond to some recent concerns about the OT on the site, both publically and privately to me. My main objective with creating this site is to discuss and assist others concerning the efficacy of natural thyroid, and thyroid topics in general. And I believe it has thoroughly met that goal!! Because of the contributions of ALL of you, this is an excellent site FULL of good information. Even your questions are good!! If you click on Messages on the left side of this site, nearly every page has thyroid topics in the high majority. On the other hand, I am aware that we occasionally have OT. I personally have not found it to be excessive or problematic. I understand it---we have a large body of folks here who can give input on an OT topic. Plus, OT personalizes who each of us is. *****BUT, there are some who find it a problem. SO, here's the compromise. I will not discourage the " occasional " OT posts. BUT, when you post an OT post, I want you to 1)include your personal email, and 2)ask for responses to be sent to you PERSONALLY. How is that done? When you click reply to any email, it will initally show the Natural site address. To the right of it, you will see a V. If you click on that, there will be a drop down, and it will include a personal email of the originally poster. Click on that, and your reply will go to the sender, not the group. ALSO, let me clarify that I do NOT find posts on health subjects such as sugar or sweeteners to be terribly OT. I believe ANY information we can receive that will benefit our health is an adjunct to our thyroid goals of better health! Here's raising my glass to all of you who make this site as good as it is. Janie aka ThyroDiva p.s And don't forget that we have a Natural Thyroid Hormones Coffeehouse when you REALLY want to do some massive OT!! It's for those who have participated on this site. If you want to join it, you have to have participated here.
