List of 111 High Prevalence districts in India

Dear FORUM,

The 111 High prev. districts (STD sites, with HIV Prev.>=5.0% & ANC sites with

HIV Prev.>= 1%) are distributed through 17 states. They are; ANDHRA PRADESH

(19), GOA(2), GUJARAT(4), KARNATAKA (22), KERALA (1), MADHYA PRADESH(2),

MAHARASHTRA (24), MANIPUR.(7), MIZORAM (2), NAGALAND (5), ORISSA (1), PUNJAB

(1), PONDICHERRY (1) , RAJASTHAN (1), TAMIL NADU (15), UTTAR PRADESH (2) and

WEST BENGAL (2)

The Resource Centre For Sexual Health & HIV/AIDS (RCSHA)- based in New Delhi and

supported by the DFID will be able to provide the list of 111 high prevalence

districts in India.
