Guest guest
Here's my report . . . . I decided to use the butter for the shortening in my tortilla recipe and added wheat flour instead of white and they turned out ok! A little heavy but that may be because my 6yo didn't roll them thin enough--who knows! They still tasted good though! Now to try a few more recipes . . . Thanks to everyone who posted information about the brown sugar and shortening substitutions! I finally found the Sweet n Low Brown at my store! Think of WW bread - usually kind of heavy, right?
