Guest guest Posted June 27, 2000 Report Share Posted June 27, 2000 debbie, i've been told by several neurosurgeons that with the advent of MRI's in the last 10 yrs., myelograms are UNECESSARY!!! they are uncomfortable and can cause severe headaches (as you may know...!). Losing your myelogram is no reason to have you repeat this procedure when you don't need to. MRI's give you the same information! press on with this....
