Banquet Crock Pot meals

I have seen two of these meals (one is Chicken and Dumplings and

the other was some sort of Beef Stew). BOTH of those had gluten in

them. I haven't seen any other flavors.

However, in my zest to find/make a good GF chicken & dumplings

recipe... I went ahead and purchased the Chicken & Dumplings one for

3 of our 4 family members who are not gluten-free, and then came

home and went on a mission to make a GF version of Chicken &

Dumplings. And, I made an aweseome one! I would much rather have

the GF one I created anyday over this Banquet frozen thing, the one

served at Cracker Barrell, or one my grandmother used to make. I

just don't know if it would/could freeze well (so I could re-heat

small portions at a later time).

> Yes they are in the frozen section. I am not sure if they are

gluten free

> for sure. They do not list wheat in the allergy section like the

other two

> flavors do but I have asked if they are free of Barley, Rye, and

Oats. As

> soon as I hear from them I will let you know.

> If anyone else has any experience please let me know.

> Thanks!

When you

made your own Chicken and Dumplings that were GF did you make it in a crock pot

and would you mind sharing your recipe?

I am looking for easy meals since I work and have to take my family’s

dinner in a crock pot to have with us.

Also as we hit sports seasons for schools I am sure I am not the only

one scrambling to feed a hungry family at a decent hour with out a lot of

fuss. J

Also how

do other families deal with meal time when hitting the local pizza place/just

any restaurant will work? I would

rather feed them something from home that is healthier and much easier to fix

than to do the whole eat out thing.

I

just got a phone call from Banquet on their Crock Pot meals and the Chicken and

Herb one does not have gluten in it!

J They also said that

if it did contain rye, oats, or barley it would be listed as well.

The other two meals I saw yesterday did contain flour so they

are out but this one is gluten free and I am not sure if they have more out

there or not.
