RE: EILEEN / KEN robberies

Sure sounds like kids to me too. No doubt drug money was needed. It's a shame they took your wallet - that's such a hassle, plus it's so personal. But it's even scary to think you might have interrupted them! You never know what these kids are capable of.

Ken's robbers tried to use a crow bar on a window, when that didn't work they used the front door. Unscrewed the front light bulb and went to work. The

police tried to get finger prints, but said they doubted they got anything but Ken's. They didn't get any from the light bulb which they said meant they probably used gloves. We think this was also done by kids or at least young people. All of his stereo stuff (but not speakers - too big) Game Boy, VCR, DVD and TV - they took the time to look for the remote - so the police said they will try and pawn it ( guess you don't get as much $ if the TV doesn't have the remote) But they didn't take his Bow - or golf clubs $$$ - which the police said were real "stand out" items that a pawn shop keeper would remember.

Ken is pretty depressed, he lives out in the country and doesn't want to move, so he knows this could happen again. It's hard when you don't have anything to begin with, no money to replace stuff and this happens. He doesn't work many hours, is at a dead end job he works at only for the insurance, plus doesn't feel well. Tomorrow is his birthday, so we changed plans and will replace his TV, give him our VCR - and get insurance!

We don't know what the Dog From Hell was doing during all this. Ken thinks she probably was jumping up and down saying "oh goody wanta play now?"

Speaking of the dog - Ken came over for supper and as we were walking him out to the car Roxy was playing (or should I say aggravating our Dawg) and she ran full steam into me, knocking me to the ground. I haven't fallen in a long time, so this a.m. I am sporting a black & blue hip, twisted muscles in neck & back and a cut scraped hand. I just can't wait till Ken goes into the hospital and we have to baby sit
