Guest guest
I noticed that this professor didn't eat meat. The story reports that when he added meat back in, his cholesterol went up. it sounds like he would simply benefit from a vegetarian diet, regardless of where the calories come from. He included a protein shake daily, milk and some vegetables so he was likely only getting 20% or less of calories from protein. Which according to some research (Especially those like Orish and Bernard) reducing the animal based products from your diet will improve your health. I know there are fillers and gross unpronounceable ingredients in many of the products he ate but, I wonder if the reduction in animal meat has more to do with the blood work results than he is giving credit? Just my two cents. Francine M. Kerber MOM to , Ellainah & Kara www.francinesharesjuiceplus.com
