It would be lidocaine, as it is a generic drug; however, there are

transcriptionists who do not bother with trying to get to know what is generic

and what is brand name and therefore type everything with a capital for the

first letter. Margaret

Dr. dictates 1% plain lidocaine or would it be 1% plain Lidocaine.

I see transcriptionist typing it with a capital L all the time. Quick

Look Book and Drake and Drake show it lower case.

How does everyone here type it?
