Guest guest Posted April 3, 2002 Report Share Posted April 3, 2002 , I saw a neurologist for tremors last summer and he did blood work for 's Disease also. He said that it is common for liver problems to be from 's (body doesn't rid copper like it's suppose to and accumulates in the body: eyes [Keyser-Fleischer rings] liver, etc.) I was tested because I have tremors and liver disease. My guess is that Mike's hep sees a combo of some sort too. However, the tests can be a little ify. If blood work shows a deficiency in Ceruloplasmin that indicates 's. In my case the first test came back deficient (positive) and the second (neg). My GI would like for me to see an eye specialist and have him look for Kayser-Fleischer rings, to be sure. There is a lot of good info about this disease on the internet. Hope all goes well and I'm glad to hear that you all have found a good doc to stick with! That is always very important!
