Guest guest
It's hard to believe I'm less than 24 hours away from a piece of toast! ********************** That's exactly how I was (I would insert your name here, but you didn't sign your e-mail). I couldn't wait for that first piece of toast. I love eggs - but mainly soft poached eggs, but I can't eat them without toast (I now eat mostly omelets with egg substitute) My 15th day I had the 2nd best poached egg on toast that I'd ever had (the first was in the hospital after 4 days on a liquid diet! LOL) I was a total carb addict, but no longer. I like bread/tortillas, etc for the appropriate meals, but I don't 'have to have bread' with every meal like I used to. In fact, there are many days I go without any starchy carbs --- just don't think about it. I sure hope your headaches ease up. It would have been so easy for you to give up, but you stuck with it and made it!! Three cheers!!!! xoxoxNita

Guest guest
Give yourself a big pat on the back! Way to go! I had to laugh though on the bit about the toast...lol I am the very same way. I made my son toast this morning and as I put some butter on it...just sniffing it was hard. :-( The day will come though...just waiting.... On the artificial sweetners..I use Splenda in my coffee and do ok but if I drink one of those Diet Rite sodas or other things sweetened with it it gives me a mild headache. Dont like the taste of any of the others so I will just do without or have a headache... Keep up the good work Sherry > Today is my last day on Phase One!
