" good p.o.s " He has some facial tenderness but no diplopia, other headache or neck stiffness. He has relatively good " p.o.s, " and is otherwise is at his baseline. Sometimes with facial tendenress and other problems, the patient is not able to take in food, water or medicines " p.o. " which literally means per os and is translated as by mouth.
