Guest guest Posted April 23, 2001 Report Share Posted April 23, 2001 To be honest, I didn't pay as much attention to where and what type of fibroids I had 11 years ago. There were 4 to 5 golf ball sized fibroids that time and they were removed by abdominal myomectomy. This time around I have two fibroids of about the same size. We're still in discovery stage with these so I'll try to remember to ask about type next time I see my doctor. My former doctor retired and I have a new doctor this time around. I'm not sure what to expect with her. I have an endomitrial biopsy scheduled for next Friday. My pap smear showed some endomitrial cells on the cervic and we need to check that out before we make any decisions on how to handle the fibroids.
