Guest guest
I think that there is something to the theory of having American vs. non-American doctors. My doc (Iranian, I believe) suspected Celiac on my very first visit and had me get an endoscopy within a week or so. Had a disgnosic very quickly. I am very lucky. I have heard others with foreign-educated doctors say they were more familiar and receptive to the diagnosis. Dr. Murray, the Mayo doc, Celiac expert and frequent speaker at CD events, is Irish. Go figure. Celeste
Guest guest
Doctor number 2 was Parvis Nikoomanesh, I believe from Pakistan. Never mentioned Celiac. > I think that there is something to the theory of having American vs. > non-American doctors.
