I think that there is something to the theory of having American vs.

non-American doctors. My doc (Iranian, I believe) suspected Celiac

on my very first visit and had me get an endoscopy within a week or

so. Had a disgnosic very quickly. I am very lucky. I have heard

others with foreign-educated doctors say they were more familiar and

receptive to the diagnosis. Dr. Murray, the Mayo doc, Celiac expert

and frequent speaker at CD events, is Irish. Go figure.

Doctor number 2 was Parvis Nikoomanesh, I believe from Pakistan.

Never mentioned Celiac.
